SGF believes in overall development of the community by promoting livelihood, Natural Resource management, and access to clean cooking and income generating activities. Livelihood is the core objective of all developmental initiatives of SGF and it revolves round the promotion of sustainable livelihoods such that all the thematic areas of intervention are converged in terms of their impact on promoting sustained livelihoods.

Agricultural promotion refers to the implementation of strategies and initiatives aimed at enhancing the growth and development of the agriculture sector.
Clean Energy
S.G.Foundation created an approach towards the role of sustainable energy in the livelihood, Irrigation, health, disaster mitigation and built environment ecosystems.
Climate Change
Sgf has started interventions in the area of Nature based solutions(NBS) for carbon credit. Nature based solutions refers to the Sustainable management and use of natural features processes to tackle socio-environment challenges.
Disaster Management
SG Foundation voluntarily support CMC-OSDMA awareness on Fire Safety Programme in various slums of Cuttack City as a part of disaster management awareness initiatives.
FPO & CBO
There are 12 Farmers Producers’ organizations(FPO) established in Keonjhar, Bhadrak & Sundargarh District through the initiative of SGF. These are producer’s company limited registered under Producer’s company Act 2013.
Horticultural Promotion
Horticulture is the art and science of cultivating plants for food, medicinal, aesthetic, and recreational purposes. It encompasses various practices such as plant propagation, breeding, production, and management.
NRM & Watershed
Sgf started its intervention in the areas of watershed management since 2015 looking into the erratic rainfall of the operational areas under the support from NABARD under its Watershed Development Fund(WDF) and OTELP.
