SGF’s projects implemented in the past in the areas of NRM, Livelihoods, Climate change, Clean energy have made positive changes in the life of poor and most marginalised farmers, women, landless, girls and their households by contributing towards living with dignity and securing resilient lives. The impact that SGF has been able to make largely relates to ten SDGs such as eradication of poverty, ending hunger, good health and wellbeing, quality education, clean water and sanitation, Affordable and clean energy, decent work and economic growth, Reduced inequalities, life on action and combating climate change.

SG Foundation has created Impact across different areas, including soil and water conservation, orchard-based livelihood development, production cluster-based model, off-farm based livelihood promotion, fighting climate change, and clean energy solutions.

SG Foundation recognizes the importance of soil and water conservation for sustainable development. Through our dedicated efforts, we have implemented innovative techniques such as terracing, contour bunding, and rainwater harvesting. These initiatives have not only helped prevent soil erosion but have also ensured the availability of clean water for local communities. By conserving soil and water resources, we are safeguarding the environment and promoting long-term agricultural productivity.

SG Foundation believes in empowering local communities through sustainable livelihood opportunities. Our orchard-based livelihood development model has transformed the lives of numerous individuals. By providing training, resources, and market linkages, we have enabled farmers to cultivate high-value fruit orchards, ensuring a steady income source.
